Caroline loved her light, form-fitting strapless lace gown and bolero by Liancarlo. A diamond bracelet that she borrowed from family friends in the jewelry business and her own dangly diamond earrings completed her look. John wore a black suit by Hugo Boss and a silver striped tie by XMI. For her bridesmaids, Caroline selected fuchsia A-line off-the-shoulder dresses by Miracle. Each woman borrowed earrings and a bracelet of her choice from Caroline’s friends.

Caroline and John both grew up in Orinda, CA, where their families still reside, so nearby Napa Valley was an obvious choice for their party. Thanks to San Francisco–based planner Maxine Andrew, selecting a venue was simple, too. She brought them to the lush property, and one glimpse of its rustic vineyard was enough. "It reminded us of Southern France," explains Caroline. To achieve the festive yet elegant look Caroline and John had envisioned, the decor included fuchsia, purple and lime green plaid taffeta tablecloths, paper lanterns and antique chandeliers, which hung from the weeping willow trees.
