A fun-loving couple updates their historic wedding venue with vibrant color

Christine and Rich needed little additional decor for their October nuptials at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial. The couple incorporated splashes of color where needed and let the rest of the venue—where the bride's parents married 40 years earlier—speak for itself.

The bridesmaids wore After Six dresses. Each woman carried a bouquet comprised of a single flower type, like sunflowers or gerbera daisies; the groomsmen sported coordinating boutonnieres. The bride’s bouquet combined all of the different blooms. All of the event’s flowers were by Conner Park Florist in St. Clair Shores.
