Amanda and Steven in Foresthill, CA

Flowers, fresh air and no fuss are the perfect mix for this fun fete

For favors, paper cones filled with jellybeans were wrapped with tissue paper. Fortunes were attached with raffia ties—the couple bought a huge bag of fortune cookies from their local Chinese restaurant, and cracked them open one by one.

For two landscape architects, an outdoor garden is, of course, the perfect wedding spot. Adding favorite blooms and a cheerful palette of green, purple and orange only enhanced the natural beauty. The couple's nondenominational ceremony took place in the early evening under a canopy of redwoods, and was followed by a reception full of flowers as the sun set over the venue.
