M.I.T. students Latosha and Keith were passing each other on campus for more than a year before they began studying each other. Keith worked as a manager at a tutoring center when Latosha signed on to be a clerk in the office. "Working together gave us the opportunity to talk a lot, and we became good friends," says Keith. Soon that friendship blossomed into romance and the pair became inseparable. Seven years later Keith proposed to Latosha while vacationing together in Kauai.

Though the couple lives in Seattle, they opted to wed in Latosha's hometown of Chicago. After two years of planning, Latosha was hospitalized only a few weeks before the big day, but recovered just in time.
