The rustic Aspen scene is perfect for a couple's destination affair
When Aaron started a nonprofit foundation, friends suggested he meet with Kara Hartnett, who had years of experience in the field. After six months of serious sparks, Kara and Aaron decided that it'd be best if Kara either joined his board or they date, but not both. They chose the latter. Nine months later, Aaron popped the question at Kara's favorite beach just south of their home in San Francisco. The couple decided on Aspen as the place for their wedding because Aaron was born there and had fond memories of it as a child. Plus, they both liked the idea of a destination wedding so that their family and friends could gather together for a weekend full of festivities.
