A contemporary hilltop estate helps this couple celebrate in style
Charity and Jeff both wanted their August wedding to be perfect, but they had different ideas for what that would entail. Charity had hoped to elope, while Jeff had his heart set on a wedding that would include all of their family and friends. “I told Jeff that if we found an amazing wedding location, I would do it his way,” says the bride. She kept her word when they discovered The Aerie, a hilltop Napa estate boasting modern architecture, quirky decor and 15-foot exterior glass walls. Still, Charity managed to get her wish, too. Instead of eloping, the couple met with their officiant a few hours prior to the wedding for an intimate pre-ceremony, during which they exchanged personalized vows without their guests present. —Cristi L.
