Allison and August in Sonoma, CA

Flowers illuminate a California estate to create a romantic wedding

Allison first saw her corded silk gown with sweetheart neckline and French bustle by Peter Langner in a magazine; she tried it on once and was sold. She accessorized with diamond-and-pearl studs, a gift from her future mother-in-law. August, his seven groomsmen and the ring bearer all donned tan linen suits, white shirts and pink seersucker ties. Floral designer Anne Appleman draped the ceremony chairs in stephanotis garlands and wreaths of lemon leaves and white rosebuds.

The couple chose to marry at the groom's childhood home—a Tuscan-influenced property with tall cypress trees, rustic stone walls and stunning vineyard vistas—to give their special day even more meaning. Tucked into the hills of northern California, where the bride also grew up, the Sebastiani residence proved the perfect spot.
