A couple's honeymoon to Aruba inspires their tropical-theme wedding
"We wanted to bring the whole laid-back atmosphere of a Caribbean island to Connecticut," says the bride. "Elegant but not stuffy." Accordingly, the couple chose an outdoor day camp as their venue—complete with a swimming pool, rock-climbing wall and mini-golf course—and added fun elements like a candy bar and classic barbecue food for a unique August wedding their guests wouldn't soon forget.
