Norah and Derek in Brooklyn, NY

A bride celebrates her love of fall with harvest hues and autumnal details

The bride wore a silk, vintage-inspired V-neck gown with French lace overlay designed by Saeyoung Vu Couture, which she found during a sample sale at the Wedding Library. She paired it with her mother’s bridal headpiece and a custom-made veil from J Couture Design in Park Slope. The groom wore a classic, black, slim-cut tuxedo from Linus.

The couple chose lush, rich shades of brown, copper, orange, amber and dark red to set the tone for their rustic yet elegant October wedding. The location, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, was an obvious choice: The couple met and lives in Brooklyn, and it's also where Derek proposed—on the Brooklyn Promenade.
