Both the ceremony and reception were held at Big Canoe, located in the foothills of the North Georgia Appalachians. The reception took place under a lighted tent adjacent to the ceremony area and was catered by Sun in My Belly, which prepared a buffet-style menu of barbecued Atlantic salmon, an apricot-and-shallot-stuffed pork loin, wild-mushroom bread pudding and stone-ground white Georgia grits.

Set against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Amanda and Christopher's October wedding was feted in rich fall hues: chocolate, coffee, deep plum and pumpkin orange.
