Margot Streeter caught Phillip Utsch’s eye at a holiday party in Manhattan. After Philip sent over a glass of Champagne as a way of introduction, the couple spent the rest of the night talking and dancing. "I was supposed to go to London to study and Phillip had arranged to fly to Hong Kong on business," Margot remembers. "But soon after we met, we knew we wanted to put those plans on hold. We set off on a whirlwind tour of Europe and by the time we returned, we were very much in love."

Feeling strongly that they wanted to do things the traditional way, Margot and Philip dated for a year and a half before becoming engaged on Maine's Mount Desert Island—and set the date for a year later. Their four-day event, which took place in Northeast Harbor, began with a picnic of French cheeses and meats on Bear Island and ended with a farewell brunch on Sunday.
