The newlyweds share a private moment together. Christina wore an ivory-silk ball gown embroidered with floral-vine patterns and accented with Swarovski crystals. Her ornate headpiece and 1920s-inspired jewelry complemented the Jazz Age feel of the reception, which took place at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

College sweethearts marry in a Jazz Age–inspired affair
It was love at first sight for Christina and Matt. Both were about to begin their freshman year at the University of Michigan, and their paths crossed at a get-together organized by Christina's soon-to-be roommate. The pair went on their first date the very next night. "I was so comfortable with him... it was like I had known him for years," Christina says.
The relationship developed quickly. "By the time I moved into my dorm, I knew she was the one," Matt says. But it wasn't until a few years after graduation that the couple became engaged. While Matt took Christina out to dinner one night, his friends set up his apartment with hundreds of candles, rose petals, and Champagne. The couple walked through the door, and Matt proposed. "It was even better than what I had imagined," Christina says.
