The bridesmaids, wearing silk chiffon-and-lace gowns made by Alice, make their way to the ceremony. Alice, who attended every fitting, was overwhelmed by how beautiful the dresses turned out. "They looked exactly as I'd hoped they would," she says.

A Manhattan couple weds in their childhood vacation spot
Even though Alice Roi, a fashion designer, is used to big runway productions, she was, in her words, "a nervous wreck" on her wedding day. But her nerves settled once she saw her fiancé, Marc, standing under the chuppah in the garden of the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Florida. (The New Yorkers chose this location because they'd both vacationed there, but never met, while growing up.) From the 90-minute Jewish ceremony to the romantic ballroom reception, the decor conveyed a Midsummer Night's Dream theme.
