A Manhattan couple weds in their childhood vacation spot

Even though Alice Roi, a fashion designer, is used to big runway productions, she was, in her words, "a nervous wreck" on her wedding day. But her nerves settled once she saw her fiancé, Marc, standing under the chuppah in the garden of the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Florida. (The New Yorkers chose this location because they'd both vacationed there, but never met, while growing up.) From the 90-minute Jewish ceremony to the romantic ballroom reception, the decor conveyed a Midsummer Night's Dream theme.

Alice and Marc take in toasts from each of their sisters. After the reception, which didn't kick off until 11 p.m., the fun-loving couple and their friends retired to a suite for an after-party with "lots of card games and room service" that lasted until 7 a.m.
