Twelve acres of Georgia farmland played host to a couple's A Midsummer Night's Dream-inspired wedding that had plenty of rustic charm and purple tones.
For Macy and William, it was "love at first sight," the bride confesses. After their first date at the Georgia State Fair, the pair was inseparable. Yet William still managed to surprise Macy when he dropped to one knee inside an intimate cafe and asked her to be his wife.
Fifteen months of planning—"way too long," Macy laments—led to the couple's June wedding in Fort Valley, Georgia. A self-proclaimed "literature buff," the bride envisioned Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream when it came to planning the couple's big day. "I wanted natural wild flowers, lights every where that would look like fairies flying around, and just a dreamy feel all over," Macy says.Photo: Jenny Evelyn
