She wore a custom wedding gown created by Dana Gail of The Bella Bride. "I tried on a million gowns at different salons and couldn't decide on one," says Caroline. "So instead I worked with a dressmaker to create a custom design that was just right." The gown featured tiers of silk organza, a lace bodice, cap sleeves, and a silver-gray ribbon—which resembled a sash Caroline's mother had worn on her own wedding day—tied at the waist. "I loved the drama and the movement of the organza petals on the bottom of the gown," says Caroline.
