"Kim's trademark smoky eyes and nude lips can translate into 'bridal' as long as you're wearing the right colors for your skin tone," says Denver-based makeup artist Carissa Passerella of Carissa Beauty. "Dark shadows can appear too harsh on a fair bride, so for her I'll use brown shades; for a girl with olive skin like Kim's, gunmetal silvers will mimic her look pretty closely. For a bride with deeper skin tones, I love using rich, pigment-dense plums and burgundy shadows. And while Kim's lips appear nude on camera, she's actually wearing some color, so I use a neutral peach—or, for a dark-skinned bride, a medium pink."
