Cover Look

Start by adding volume to your locks with a volumizing agent like Aveda Volumizing Tonic. Then, with your head upside down, blow dry hair from root to tip.

Use a small curling iron, about 1.5 inches in diameter and curl hair in whatever pattern works for you. Don¹t be afraid of the size of the iron, tight curls will gradually settle into soft waves by the time of the wedding.

Secure curls with a light hold spray to avoid looking too "producty" and overworked; you want to appear yourself: natural and beautiful. Use Workforce 09 by Redken, a medium hold spray that fights frizz, adds shine, and maintains shape for up to eight hours.

Part hair naturally in the middle, twist sides down, and pin back. If wearing a veil, like our model, secure it in the vacant space between the pins of the twisted hair.
