Three-Stone Engagement Rings

Not set on a solitaire? Try a three-stone setting—perfect for those who love more than one cut, color, or want a little extra bling on their ring.

Why have one center stone when you can have three? Three stone engagement rings have become increasingly popular with brides to be, and it's no wonder: the twinkling trio offers versatility, a beautifully balanced look, and, of course, more bling.

First, a three-stone engagement ring is a great way to compromise when you're not set on a single cut. Whether an oval is flanked by trillions, a round-cut is surrounded by half-moons, or three stately emerald-cuts are placed in a row, there's plenty of creative combinations to be had.

Along with cuts and styles, you can combine different colors of stones by setting a diamond center gem with two sapphires or visa versa.

Plus, just because you have three stones sparkling in the center doesn't mean you can't have an extra dose of bling. Plenty of precious trios are set with pavé or channel-set bands. If you prefer a clean and classic style, we recommend opting for smooth gold or platinum band.

These triplets are also great for brides who don't like the look of one huge center stone. And for those on a tighter budget, adding two smaller stones on the side will trick the eye and make your engagement ring appear larger. Consider your sparkler, hacked.

As people say: bigger is better. So make three times the charm and go for an engagement ring that's a triple threat.
