A round diamond. This is the most classic and popular.

Cushion

Antique rectangular shape with rounded corners and larger facets to bring out the brilliance. Also known as "pillow cut."

Emerald

A rectangular cut with cropped corners. This shape is known for its long lines and dramatic flashes of light.

Heart

A pear shape with a cleft at the top. This shape, which can vary in length-to-width ratio, is considered the most romantic of all the cuts and a symbol of love.

Marquise

Shaped like the diamond on the playing cards but with rounded corners along the midsection.

Oval

An elongated, round shape known for its ability to slim and flatter the finger.

Pear

An unconventional teardrop shape. The point is usually worn facing outward to lengthen the appearance of the finger.

Princess

A newer square cut with extra facets for maximum sparkle.

Radiant

More facets make this rectangular stone more brilliant than the emerald cut.
