Hairstylists and makeup artists discuss the celebrity styles that brides are requesting for their wedding day, and how they tweak those (sometimes insanely over-the-top) looks for a "real world" wedding.
"Instead of the sleek curls that used to be popular, brides are now requesting the softer updos worn by celebs like Eva Longoria," says Faye Zandi of Zandi K Hair & Skin Studio, in Denver. "Eva's most popular style features loose curls pinned into a chignon. To re-create that fullness, we often use clip-in hairpieces along with volumizing tonic at the roots. For polish and longevity, our stylists finish the look with a flexible-hold hairspray and a shine spray."
