Hairstylists and makeup artists discuss the celebrity styles that brides are requesting for their wedding day, and how they tweak those (sometimes insanely over-the-top) looks for a "real world" wedding.

Katy Perry
Your makeup artist thinks: Winged cat eye, bright lips

"When a bride brings in a photo of Katy, I know she's looking for a bright pop of color on the lips and a '50s cat eye," says Chicago makeup artist Carley Martin. "I'll use a brown eyeshadow in the crease, then a slanted brush dipped in waterproof gel eyeliner to create a thin line that gets wider as it nears the outer corner of the eye. For the lips, I use a liner in a shade close to the natural lip color, then apply gloss."
