Our Favorite Short Dresses

The best little numbers of the season

From ballerina-inspired tulle to nature-girl hemp, asymmetrical and modern to swingy, 1950s-style, and sweet, there's never been a wider diversity of short wedding dress styles on the market. We're seeing barely-there minis, tea-length frocks, and pencil-skirted knee-length numbers, depending on how much leg you'd like to show, and a variety of necklines, too. Short dresses were once relegated to "second dress" status, worn only at receptions or rehearsal dinners, but now we're seeing brides embrace the style, wearing these little numbers for the whole shebang—usually at more informal affairs in backyards or at restaurants, but the more bejeweled dresses can work for ritzier events. Here are our favorite short dresses of the season.
