From bridal designers including Carolina Herrera and Reem Acra to ready-to-wear pros including Wes Gordon and Delpozo, we scoured the Fall 2015 runways to find perfect wedding-day looks for every type of bride-to-be.
The Fall 2015 ready-to-wear collections at New York Fashion Week were complete with plenty of inspiration for brides-to-be. Whether you're a hosting a classic ballroom celebration or a chic city affair, the runways were full of looks fit for your nuptials or pre-wedding parties.
If you're a glamorous bride with the goal of captivating your guests, look no further than Zac Posen's metallic beaded gown. Inspired by Daisy Buchanan? Channel the Great Gatsby siren in Marchesa's cropped '20s dress with illusion embroidery and tulle.
Romantic brides will love the pale blue tulle of Delpozo's V-neck gown, along with Giulietta's 1930s-inspired silhouette with starlight crystal embroidery. And whether you're walking down the aisle or dancing with your new husband, Carolina Herrera's unforgettable baby blue gown creates graceful movement.
There were also many looks for the minimalist bride, from elegant shapes at Wes Gordon to refined simplicity at Novis. The ruffle hem on Adam Lippes's pale blue dress adds just the right touch of femme — and it would make a perfect bridal shower or post-wedding brunch look. We also love Katie Ermilio's short goldenrod mini for an after-party, while Jason Wu's figure-flattering silhouette is fit for a rehearsal dinner or city hall wedding.
If you consider yourself more of a traditionalist, look to Sally LaPointe's pleated silk strapless gown or Peter Copping's corset dress painted with a dark rose print, from his first collection for Oscar de la Renta. Similarly, Naeem Khan's off-the-shoulder ivory gown is a classic bridal silhouette, with a slight twist thanks to its beautiful cascading grey floral print.
