Until recently, wearing a wedding gown in a non-white or ivory hue was the exception rather than the rule. But after watching gown after gown come down the runway awash in subtle shades of blush, pale pink, and even true peach, we realized that the paradigm was shifting. Especially when Reese Witherspoon, a paean to classic, conservative dressing, put her stamp of approval on the trend by walking down the aisle wearing a blush-colored Monique Lhuillier gown in March. Clearly, blush has made its official debut as an expected—not quirky—wedding dress color.
