This was quite a year for British designer Jenny Packham. A red-carpet favorite of celebs such as Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Hudson, Packham's rising star shone brightest this side of the pond when a version of this dress appeared on an episode of Gossip Girl. The asymmetrical chiffon creation features a constellation of Swarovski jewels that encircle the gown's ethereal, understated silhouette and point to a new, effortless take on glamour.
