Ines Di Santo - Fall 2016

The Fall 2016 collection was inspired by light and all of its beautiful qualities. I always begin to design in canvas, able to only imagine in the early stages what light could be captured and held between layers. Only able to imagine my bride in front of a sunlit morning window...

Sheer layers that allow small glimpses of sparkle to shine through, delicate Chantilly lace woven through the gowns, embroidery flowing over soft sheer folds. Embellishment is refined and feminine for the season. Light paired with movement celebrates beauty of each woman. A closer look reveals the small details rarely found outside of couture. The pinned canvases transformed to subtle light filled splendor.
