Isabel lost 59 pounds in fifteen months
Her slim-down strategy: "I started exercising four days a week, and I signed up for Weight Watchers, which taught me to portion what I ate. I could still have things I loved, like Cheez-Its, but in small amounts. I also swapped chips for crisp veggies like celery and cucumbers, which satisfied my emotional cravings."
The biggest challenge: "Taking responsibility for my weight. I had to accept that I had done this to myself and that if I wanted to feel better about myself, I had to change."
Best diet tip: "Buy something you want to fit into someday and hang it in your closet, your bathroom, or wherever you can see it. It'll keep you focused on your goal."
In her gown, she felt... "Amazing. All my weight had physically and emotionally disappeared."
