"Bridal couture designer Della Giovanna debuts 2015 Collection, inspired by the intricate art of medieval armor.
Known for its fashion-forward, edgy style, Della Giovanna's 2015 Collection of bridal separates was inspired by the designer's trip through Germany. The resulting collection combines the romance of traditional wedding gowns and European sophistication with elements of medieval chainmail armor.
"I've always been fascinated with chainmail, so when I saw the intricate wearing of the rings in chainmail up close during my trip through Germany, I fell in love," said designer Michelle Della Giovanna. "For this collection, I wanted to take something that we traditionally think of as being masculine and shapeless and make it fitted and feminine."
Designed in New York City, Della Giovanna's 2015 Collection includes a range of silhouettes from the flattering fit-and-flare to sleek mermaid to mini skirts as well as corseted tops offering a variety of necklines. The tops and skirts can be mixed and matched, giving each bride a chance to create unique customized looks for the ceremony and reception."
