Freshen up your bridal party with these classic off-white designs.
Kate Moss, Kim Kardashian, Ashlee Simpson, and even Kate Middleton are all doing it. Ivory bridesmaid dresses have become a celebrity-wedding staple, and for good reason! This off-white hue is as fresh as it comes. While you may think it's taboo for your 'maids to wear a version of white on your wedding day, a monochromatic bridal party makes for gorgeous pictures and a chic aesthetic.
To ensure your girls' looks don't steal the spotlight away from your big-day gown, you'll need to be mindful of the silhouette and fabric. Wearing a big ball gown or mermaid on your wedding day? Have your girls rock slick sheaths or straight-cut knee-length shifts. If you're wearing lace, make sure they put on anything but (silk and/or chiffon are always good options). This is one case where having all of your girls wear the same dress may come in handy, and if not, make sure they're all wearing a dress from the same make. Minimal detail-work helps to distinguish their gowns from yours, too.
The good news, too, is that finding a slew of ivory dresses is extremely easy — almost every major bridesmaid dress designer crafts dresses in this shade, and they're incredibly easy to match (there's only so many ways ivory can be interpreted, after all).
