Jenny Packham on their 2014 collection:
"My 2014 Collection is inspired by the Belle Époque era of the 20th century.
A statement of romantically soft, feminine design, the collection encapsulates the spirit of Edwardian style and the Art Nouveau movement which defined it. The Belle Époque or 'beautiful era' transformed fashion, abandoning restrictive corsetry and creating the flowing silhouette ever since associated with the Age of Elegance.
Intricate, light beading, delicate embellishment and clean, understated silhouettes play homage to an Edwardian inspiration, whilst romantically voluminous ballerina skirts, graceful tulle sleeves and elegantly exposed backs bring to mind a very modern bride. Available in hues of ivory, champagne and magnolia, luxurious silk mikado, sumptuous draped chiffon and exquisite French lace are adorned with delicate silk flowers and twinkling crystals in a spectrum of antique metallic silvers and champagnes.
Creating your dress, possibly one of the most treasured items you will ever own, is an immense and inspiring challenge. The design must be timeless yet contemporary, exquisite and gloriously feminine. It needs to encapsulate your dreams and have the power to evoke emotion.
I constantly travel the world to source the most unique inspiration for my designs. A glistening piece of vintage jewellery rescued from a flea market in Paris, a beautiful forgotten image from Hollywood's silver screen that catches my eye in an old world bookshop in Los Angeles, or a detail that stays with me from a painting in a Parisian art deco exhibition.
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and the day you can express yourself in your own unique way. I hope that with your vision and my absolute desire to bring you the most directional concepts in bridal design, we can together achieve a day of true beauty and precious memories."
