It's no surprise that the Duchess of Cambridge's gown, designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, was the most eagerly anticipated wedding dress of the year. The couture creation featured a form-fitting bodice, a full skirt fashioned from ivory and white satin silk gazar, and elegant long, lace sleeves.
Many designers raced to create their own versions, incorporating similar lace sleeves, fitted corsets, and full skirts. This one from Blue by Enzoani gives a modern interpretation with its high bateau neckline and jeweled sash.
