Ron Ben-Israel created sugar-paste daffodils (real daffodils are actually poisonous!) to adorn this garden conservatory cake. All the flowers are slightly different and scaled down to be in sync with the size of the cake. The sugar-paste trellis, complete with gazebo topper, was first made in white, then done again in green for more impact. The lemon-zest cream filling complements this spring fantasy, price upon request, by Ron Ben-Israel, ronbenisrael.com. Charleston napkin, from Matouk, matouk.com. Ivory cake knife, stylist's own.
