A Blue & Pink Cake with Fondant Bow

While a blue cake might not be what initially comes to mind when you're dreaming up the perfect wedding dessert, this four-tiered confection by Rachael Teufel of Intricate Icings proves that when done well, a blue cake can be utterly elegant. The Tiffany-blue and pale-pink hues matched the wedding's color scheme and the cake's design elements — the hand-piped embroidery and modeling-chocolate sash and bow — were inspired by the bride's wedding gown.
