Four-Tiered Cake with Gold Leaf Details

A gilded laurel is such a striking accent to a simply frosted cake. For a wedding at historic Keswick Hall in Virginia, planned by Easton Events, baker Kathy Watkins of Favorite Cakes fashioned leaves from fondant and gum paste, then painted them with gold luster dust to match the laurel featured on the couple's invitation.
