Q: Many of my family and friends are chipping in to help lower the wedding costs: My aunt is doing the bridal party's hair, my mom's best friend is doing the makeup. I would love to thank them in the wedding program or list the service they provided and their names. Is this totally inappropriate?

A: It's certainly fitting, as long as you keep it simple and don't get into who did what. Appropriate program wording would be, "Many thanks to all our family and friends who have helped make the day so wonderful, especially Aunt Elaine and Mrs. Hudkins. We're also grateful to..." and list the names of anyone else who made a contribution.
