Q: My bridesmaids are wearing pink dresses. Should I ask them to wear a matching lipstick?

A: Requesting pink is fine, if a little obsessive, but you should realize that they probably can't all wear the same shade. Your friends should choose a color that complements their skin and hair coloring. "Bridesmaids with darker complexions should wear a pink accented with berry overtones," explains Giella Poblocki, creator and owner of Giella Custom Blend Cosmetics in New York City. Try a pink with a bit of a brown tint for medium skin; fair maidens should pucker up with a pretty pastel hue. Another option for giving the girls a uniform look: "Have your bridesmaids coat their lipsticks with the same shade of pink shimmer gloss," suggests Poblocki
