Q: My future husband hates to wear jewelry. Is it okay not to get him a ring?

A: Yes, your groom does not have to wear a wedding ring if he doesn't feel comfortable in jewelry. But even though he may not want to wear a wedding band every day, you may still want to buy him a ring so you can exchange rings during your wedding ceremony. You don't have to have a double-ring ceremony if you don't want to. Simply tell your officiant that only you will have a band slipped on your finger. Or if you choose to have a double-ring ceremony, you can buy your fiancÚ a simple ring for the sole purpose of exchanging rings.
