Back when we first started dating, it felt like there was no where we could go to be alone (my parents were very protective) so we use to walk to a neighborhood park in a new neighborhood with didn't have many people. One day we were sitting on the playground and he turns to me and said "I love you" for the first time. It was a very special moment. Well, almost 4 years later, we were having dinner at his parents house and my dad was there too, and Jeff said "lets go for a drive." Now, Jeff has never been good at keeping secrets so I pretty much new what was coming. He drove to the park, and we got out and walked around for a few minutes talking. Then we went and sat in the same spot on the playground, and he pulled out the ring and asked me to be his wife. I said yes and probably cried all the way back to his parents house. It wasn't a big flashy proposal that I wanted, but it had some sentimental meaning to it so that made it just as special.

Ok, about the wedding. The date we set is Dec. 22, 07. Our colors are Red and white, and a little Christmas themed. I've been having some trouble finding an affordable venue, but that's to be expected. I'm still in the early stages of planning because I don't have many people interested in helpin me plan. I have to say that Brides.com has been so great, especially the forums. Talking to other women about stuff is so helpful.
