There's no more loved wedding keepsake than a photo album! After all, you've invested in a photographer to capture the moments, so you should put those gorgeous images on display! But not all wedding albums are created equal. Sure, a traditional album is gorgeous (the fabric covers, beveled pages, and artistic selection of images... swoon!), but if you're looking for another way to share those shots with your family and friends, look no further than Stereo Photo Album.
Inspired by old school View-Masters, the Stereo Photo Album was created by photographer Samantha Chami, who loves the way the two offset images you saw through each eye creates a three-dimensional picture — so much that she transformed it into a new way to experience your wedding pictures. It started out as a way for her and her husband to capture memories of their growing son, and took off from there. So now, instead of simply perusing an album of your wedding pictures, you can immerse yourself fully in each and every moment.
Now, in addition to using her traditional camera to capture wedding moments, Chami also brings along an antique 3D camera from the 1950s, which exposes onto slide film. From there, Chami hand-cuts and mounts the selected images onto reels, which are viewed through a 3D viewer delivered in a gorgeous Douglas Fir box — so the display is just as stunning as your pictures.
But wait: It gets better! Instead of using digital film to create 3D photos or creating new reels or viewfinders, Chami sources all vintage materials. That means the viewer you receive, as well as the reels your film is tucked into, are originals. So if you're an old school junkie, have a retro flare, or are looking for a type of wedding photography and a memento that can't be find anywhere else, Stereo Photo Album might be exactly what you're looking for.
