We can never say enough about Oscar de la Renta — especially when it comes to the iconic design house's latest collection of gorgeous bridal gowns. Spring 2016 was an extra special season, too, because it was the first that new Creative Director Peter Copping designed. The result, unsurprisingly was a sophisticated line featuring darling details, expert craftsmanship, and to our delight, a few freshly modern moments.
Now, thanks to our runway video, you can get front-row access to one of this season's most anticipated bridal runway shows. From the stunning lace to the layered tulle and structural minis, you'll be able to get and up-close-and-personal look at all of the gorgeous details.
Like many other bridal designers this season, lace had as major of a moment as ever, but this time, Copping turned tradition on its head with a few sheer elements like our favorite number from the collection, a slim-fit lace sheath with sheer skirt and another long-sleeve sheath with three-dimensional lace appliqués.
Shape also appeared to be extremely important with pointed strapless V-necks contrasting a voluminous mini skirt on one gown, and a ruffled tulle overskirt adding airy texture to another.
The romance, too, was at an all time high with painted floral hems, miniature bloom adornments, and as we mentioned above, floral lace appliqés.
This is one collection you won't want to miss! Be sure to watch the video above to catch all of the most beautiful moments in lifelike detail.
