Just a warning: Newlyweds Michael Buchanan and Jason Gilbert are about to embody your wedding goals. The grooms, who got married at a friend's home on Michigan's Lake Allegan on August 23, had the reception entrance to end all reception entrances — they rode up on unicorn jet skis!
After a gorgeous lakeside ceremony attended by 80 guests, the duo hopped onto their water-bound rides and completely blew their friends and family away. According to the Huffington Post, a friend informed them that their "big gay wedding" wouldn't be complete without the unicorns.

"When someone suggests riding in on unicorn jet skis, you say yes," Gilbert said. "Or, rather, yaaaaas!"
Buchanan, a Broadway actor who is currently touring with a production of The Book of Mormon, proposed to Gilbert in Maui three years ago, nearly a year after New York (where they live) legalized same-sex marriage. His words of advice to all couples planning a same-sex wedding? "Really drink in the community of people who got you to this moment and the work it takes to celebrate and continue our responsibility to bring LGBTQ awareness to everyone."
He went on to note that their doing so made their day extra special. "What was so exciting about our wedding was that it wasn't a 'gay wedding,'" he said. "Thanks to the work of so many people and so much awareness we just had a 'wedding!'"
"We just hoped that it would be as fun for our guests as it was for us," he told BuzzFeed. It sure looks like it was!
