Congratulations to Tracy Morgan and Megan Wollover! The comedian wed his his fiancée of four years Sunday in an intimate wedding ceremony in Cresskill, New Jersey, Us Weekly reports.
The wedding comes at an emotional time for the couple, who share one daughter, two-year-old Maven Sonae Morgan, together. While the pair got engaged in March 2011, their wedding plans were postponed when tragedy struck the family. In June 2014, Morgan was left critically injured after a serious car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike killed his friend James McNair and left Morgan with several broken bones and a traumatic brain injury, requiring intensive therapy.
"I don't want to walk my wife down the aisle with a cane or in a wheelchair...So I had to go hard with the therapy," he told People in June. "Happiness is simply having something to look forward to," he added. "I look forward to being married, and I'm really happy."
The couple celebrated the weekend prior to their nuptials with a joint bachelor and bachelorette party in New York City, inviting 23 friends to partake in a little celebratory bowling at Lucky Strike.
We can only imagine how much newlywed bliss Morgan is filled with now that he and his wife are finally married. But his recent nuptials aren't the only thing filling the Morgan family with joy these days — the comedian is set to host Saturday Night Live this season, taking him back to the set of the show that propelled him to fame 20 years ago.
