Bridesmaids. They're the women you love most of all and the only ones you can imagine standing next to you your big day, but are you treating them nicely? It's easy for the stress of wedding planning to cloud a bride's vision, so here's a quick checklist of things you should absolutely avoid doing to your dear bridesmaids. ('Maids, you're welcome.)
1. Depleting Their Bank Account
It's the grievance heard time and time again, "Between the bridesmaids dress, bridal showers, and bachelorette I am going seriously broke." While no one is asking you to sacrifice the dreams you have for your wedding, it is possible to merge fantasy and reality. When making choices — like your bridesmaids' dresses and your bachelorette destination — consider the cost of being your bridesmaid in totality. This is a fast way to feel more appreciative of the support your bridesmaids are showing you, and also find ways to cut a few costs on the aspects that are less important to you.
2. Putting Them on Your Bridal Diet
Whether it's toner arms, a tighter bum, or a whittled waist, many brides have wedding-day fitness goals for themselves. While we fully support doing anything that makes you feel happier and more confident on your big day, you should not banish your bridesmaids to The Land of Kale and Cardio just because misery loves company.

__3. Dictating Their Attire ... for Everything __
Telling your bridesmaids what wear on your wedding day? Normal. Directing your bridesmaids on exactly what to wear to every bridal event leading up to the wedding? Eh, a little too much.
4. Stealing Every Ounce of Their Free Time
We know, your wedding is hugely important and exciting and wonderful, but being a part of your bridal party is not the only thing your bridesmaid has going on in her life. If all of your time spent together is centered on wedding planning, you may need to step back and reassess.
5. Ignoring Their Insecurities
There is no worse feeling for a bridesmaid, than standing up in front of hundreds of people in a dress that makes her feel uncomfortable and insecure. While it's ultimately your day, do your best to consider a style — or styles — that make everyone feel comfortable and happy.
