It was a night of love, roses, and lots of questions! After last night's anticipated *Bachelor * finale, The Bachelor Ben Higgins, finally revealed to the which woman he choose in his onscreen quest for love. Nearly two hours of "I love you's," and tropical Jamaica backdrops, led the Season 20 Bachelor to the ultimate decision to pop the question to his now fiancée, Lauren Bushnell. Immediately following the finale, the newly public pair put their love to the test on Jimmy Kimmel Live with some very revealing post-engagement questions!
After an emotional 10-week journey of love on national television, this Bachelor, and his new fiancée (shout out to Neil Lane for the stunning engagement ring!), are finally ready to celebrate some post-engagement bliss. Shortly after coming out as a couple for the first time publicly on last night's After the Final Rose, it was a chat with one of late night's funniest hosts that really put their forever love to the test.
Thanks to Jimmy Kimmel's hysterical, and very revealing, pre-newlywed game called "Fiancé My Name," America's newest Bachelor pair found out just how much (and at times how little) they know about each other's lives off-camera! The questions, which focused primarily on family members, proved no match for Bachelor Ben, who managed to correctly answer the names of his new fiancé's siblings, uncle, and even her dog, People reports. The season 20 heartthrob even pulled out his familiar onscreen charm when stumped on the question referring to his future mother-in-law's maiden name. "Beautiful," Ben wrote. The future Mrs. Higgins even managed to capture the doting moment on social media by posting a still of the late night scene with the caption, "Celebrations are in order. Watch us tonight on jimmykimmel!"
Even though the cue cards aligned for America's Bachelor when it came to answering questions correctly under pressure, the same wasn't so smooth for his final rose choice, Lauren. Despite a few wrong answers, Kimmel tried to lighten the mood by providing some pre-newlywed game words of wisdom saying, "You'll get to know each other better!"
Unfortunately, Ben's heartthrob status was nearly tainted by his bride-to-be's latest pet peeve. "So Ben is a very heavy mouth breather," said Lauren, who recalled getting mad at her future husband when he almost ruined a very sacred time between the twosome. "We were praying and she stops and she goes 'can you not pray so loud?" Ben revealed. Just keep holding up those "beautiful" cue cards, Ben, and you should be fine!
