On their first date, Tera and Brett visited several of their favorite spots around Atlanta, including a used bookstore on North Highland Avenue. They returned to that location to take wedding portraits. "Brett is a book buff, so I thought the thousands of books would be a great backdrop for photos," says Tera. She wore a Lela Rose gown from Kelly's Closet and red Stuart Weitzman shoes. The bride, an art director and graphic designer, created many of the wedding's décor elements, including the invitations and a burlap-and-ribbon banner that welcomed guests to the wedding. The ceremony was held in the courtyard of JCT Kitchen, a restaurant in Midtown.

The reception was held inside the restaurant. Tera also made the table numbers using fresh white pumpkins and brushed-metal house numbers from Home Depot. The buttercream-frosted cake featured a papier-mache topper that's been in the bride's family for generations. Read more about this couple's wedding here.
