Yesterday was a big day for football, but it also proved to be an even bigger day for some of our favorite Hollywood couples. From A-list double dates before the game to the sweet moments between husband and wife after, we rounded up our favorite couples at Super Bowl XLIX.
Kimye's Double Date with John Legend and Chrissy Teigen:
John Legend certainly kicked off the biggest football game of the year with his booming rendition of "America the Beautiful," but the evening before he and his wife Chrissy Teigen enjoyed a night on the town with another power couple: Kimye! According to Us Weekly, Legend and Teigen watched Kanye West perform with Rihanna at the DirecTV Super Saturday Night Concert in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday night. The famous foursome then enjoyed a very casual meal at none other than the Waffle House. Both of the wives happily shared the funny snap on their respective Instagram accounts. The two pairs were also spotted watching the game the following day.
Aaron and Lauren Paul's Weekend Getaway:
For Breaking Bad alum Aaron Paul and his wife, Lauren, the Super Bowl proved to be the perfect weekend trip. After enjoying Kanye and Rihanna's performance on Saturday night, the adorable duo rooted on their beloved Seahawks from the stands at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
Katy Perry Reuniting with John Mayer:
Half-time performer Katy Perry was feeling the love, too, and not just from her current flame John Mayer. According to Us Weekly, Perry received sweet notes from her exes before and after her bold performance. Former husband Russell Brand tweeted, "Super Bowl may be baffling to Brits but half time show will be amazing. Good luck KP." Even her most recent ex, musician Diplo, joined in on the congratulatory bandwagon. He posted a photo of the star along with his own kind words about her performance. To celebrate the successful show, Perry and Mayer enjoyed some downtime at an after party with Missy Elliot, proving they've certainly rekindled their romance.
Gisele Bündchen Supporting Tom Brady:
The night finished on a high-note for Tom Brady, who led the New England Patriots to success and was crowned MVP. According to E! News, Brady's wife, Gisele Bündchen, and the couple's two kids, ran to the field to shower Brady with affection in what was arguably the most adorable moment of the entire game.
