Last week, our editorial assistant, Abby, and I were invited to a garden luncheon at the Brooklyn Heights home of makeup artist Linsey Snyder, of Facetime Beauty Concierge, and her husband, Jeremy Wachalter, executive chef and owner of Cobblestone Catering. Jeremy and Linsey came up with the fabulous idea of gathering together some of New York's most notable and talented wedding vendors for an afternoon of mingling and sharing ideas. As accordion/violin/vocal trio Loukoum played music reminiscent of the soundtrack from the movie Amelie, Cobblestone Catering served up the tasty springtime menu recently featured in this brides.com story.
I thought the beautifully-decorated tables, featuring arrangements by L'Atelier Rouge, would be perfect for an outdoor bridal shower. Get inspired by more shots from the luncheon at photographer Mel Barlow's website. —Lauren Matthews, editor, Brides New York
