"Personally, I know that I don't like the natural look that some brides do. I'm 43, I don't really need to look like a virgin getting married," the Modern Family star told People at a CoverGirl event thrown in honor of her wedding. "I want to look sexy. I want to look great. I want to look good and [wear] something that I know is going to look good in pictures. I know I'm going to do something that will make me feel pretty and well put together, like a bold lip and this foundation."
As she's hinted before, she won't be going for a traditional bridal look when she says "I do" to fiancé Joe Manganiello. "I already got married before. I don't think I'm going to do a veil," she added. "I think I'm passed that virgin look."
She also plans on sticking to what she knows she loves: her long-loose waves, and a curve-hugging silhouette that will make her feel super confident. "I think women once they hit 40, they shouldn't put there hair up again until they're 60," she said of her signature long locks. "I think in your 20s and 30s if you put it up you look great, once you're 40 you age yourself putting your hair up, and then 60 you're already old, so you really need to look well put together, so just put it up."
Even though we've seen her rock glamorously wavy tresses time and time again, we can't wait to see her all glammed-up for her wedding!
