Thirty-eight has been a year full of reasons for celebration for Joe Manganiello, and it looks like year 39 will be just as good. Not only did the actor star in the best girls-night-in film of the year, Magic Mike XXL, he also got engaged and, tied the knot with Modern Family bombshell Sofia Vergara. Fresh off their stunning Miami wedding, the two are making everyone envious again with Vergara's sweet birthday message for her new husband.
"Happy bday to the husband I always dreamed of," Vergara captioned the Instagram, which shows her and Manganiello dancing cheek to cheek at their wedding. The ever adorable actor left a sweet and simple "Te Amo!" in the comments of Vergara's Instagram. The actress posted a second photo commemorating her husband's birthday showing the two of them celebrating in a restaurant, grinning for the camera with a celebratory chocolate dessert (and candle!) in front of them. Yum!
We love remembering how far the two have come since they first met. The actress admitted she didn't even want to date her now hubby at first. "I didn't want to go out with him for a long time because I thought he was too good looking," Vergara told InStyle in their October cover story. "Like, it's too much work, and I'm older. I'm 43 years old. I don't want to deal with a guy that every girl is after, you know?"

It's very clear that Vergara was able to get past Manganiello's devastatingly good looks and we have a feeling she's lucky she did. This gorgeous duo is constantly sharing relationship milestones with the public and we love it. In fact, Vergara posted so many snaps from their wedding on November 22, we almost feel like we were there in person.
The two kicked off their wedding celebration at a private poolside bungalow for dinner, complete with custom "he had me at hola," napkins, and ended the weekend with their nuptials on Sunday. Vergara wore a gorgeous custom-made dress by Zuhir Murad. The dress was in the actress's signature mermaid cut, but, deviating from her usual red-carpet-look, she added a detachable ball gown skirt for the ceremony.
Vergara's son walked her down a dreamy aisle that was lined with Jeff Leatham flowers, giving the venue a total outdoors brought indoor feel. After the two officially said, "I do" in front of 400 guests, the party really began. Even Pitbull performed!
Along with Mr. 305, the guest list included Vergara's Modern Family co-stars, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, and Eric Stonestreet, and other pals Channing Tatum and Reese Witherspoon. The twosome's extravagant affair did keep one thing simple — their wedding registry. The two only asked for one thing in lieu of wedding gifts: guests were asked to make donations in honor of St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
